Duck, they really don't need that fancy advertisement. They have gotten to the Doctors. Then the Docs do a good job of scaring the daylights out of their patients if they dont take the meds.

The sad part is some meds are needed. If a person can not get hold of sugar or blood pressure on their own then meds can save their life. The good gets all jumbled with the bad and the greed.

People have to educate themselves so they can know the difference.

BTW, did anyone catch last weeks Coast on drugs. Ian interviewed a man who was discussing how many prestigious Doctors are endorsing meds they know nothing about. There is a big push to find multi uses for drugs. If a med isn't selling well for what it was invented for find something else to use it for...

Some days i just want to move to an island.

Comunication is some how the bigist peoblem for people be it comunicating with OTHERS or there own bodies -- they just don't LISTEN!:hahaha::haha:

We got way too many EXPERTS and far too FIEW who genuenly care or are allowed by the system to CARE for paitents! (NURSES are NOT work horses that can pull a draft wagon alone) :hahaha::yes:

HEALTH care is NOT an INDUSTRY -- it is a LIFE CHOICE to HELP others and should NEVER be a way to get WEALTHY!:rant:

It is GREED that places the CART befor the WAGON and :thinkey::yes: why the CART goes off the road!

My NAM stories are no MORE scarey than what happens EVERY DAY in ANY HOSPITAL in the USA.

They just don't talk about IT because it would KLL the GOOSE that lays the GOLDEN EGGS!:yes:

No one DARES up set the APPLE CART and the fiew who DARE TO are eliminated or removed as quickly as posable! Threats and intimidation are SOP! You don't have to look hard to find it -- ask just about any nurse or hospital technition!

I worked physical plant mainenence in a 500 bed hospital in Chicao for many years and finely one day could not take "IT" any more so spent two days camping out in the administrators office off and on during the days. Finely had her TRAPED (a NUN) and she could not get out with out facing ME!:yes:

I showed her a stack of pictures I had taken --- she was not impressed.:banghead: I beged her to let me take her on a tour of her hospital and she agreed.:applause_

I spent an hour with her from SURGERY to central supply and even the emergency generators and the boiler room. In the generator room as I explained how it was almost flooded out and the Edison vault almost exploded --- a big RAT came out from behind one of the humungus Onan generators and she pointed at it and GIGLED!

She told me she did not see any thing all that bad and said I was OVER REACTING! I told her "Sister aparently I have waisted your time and I am sure I have waisted MY time here at your hospital."

I QUIT and took my two big roll around tool boxes and welding equipment home!:yes: Started my own business fixing stuff for other people -- advertised for free in a local hand out paper. MY add said "I am the HOUSE DOCTOR -- I can FIX almost any thing! Call ME! XXX-XXXX!"

Damn near starved but got some realy CRAZY JOBS!:hahaha::haha::haha:

QWAK,a little add on to that hospital story: It was realy 3 hospitals called Columbus 3Cs (for Columbus-Cunio-Cabrini) ALL are now GONE been sold off by the Catholic Church for MEGA BUCKS!!

Columbus ware I worked, had a brand new 15 story high rise, right on Lake Shore Drive ---- it is NOW CONDOMINIUMS!:rant:

What I want to know is what they did with Sister Cabrini? :questionm:questionm:questionm

The original hospital was a donated old building from a GANGSTER!:yes:

When IT was torn down they built a beautifull CHAPLE and SHRINE to the SAINT who started the place Sister Cabrini and her BONES were in a central ALTER under a high DOME with a big platform about 50' up and hanging DOWN about 30' under the dome which was painted like what some one thought HEAVEN should look like compleat with ANGELS. There were lights shining down from the platform and some out of the dome it self.

I spent a couple of days off and on changing out all the bulbs as many had burned out since it had last been done about 10 years befor.

Once in a wile I would rest on top of that plat form kick back and have a smoke as the platform swayed (it was suported from the dome on chains to 4 corners) Angels or pictures of angles all around me and the BONES of Sister Cabrini directly UNDER ME in an ALTER made of finist Italian Marble with WINDOWS on two sides so people could come see SAINT CABRINI and pray for and DONATE to that HOSPITAL!:thinkey::yes:

I want to know what happened to her SHRINE --- and WHY she didn't talk to ME when I tried to talk to HER?:questionm:questionm:questionm:questionm

I had HER TRAPED sort of the same way I did the NUN administrator!:grin: Got about the same answer TOO!
